The Skills Pass
The Skills Pass is a verification process initiated by the Government of Malta that allows skilled individuals in the Tourism and Hospitality sector to gain recognition for their skills and be able to work in Malta in this industry.
The Skills Pass Process
The verification process is split into two phases.

Phase One
Candidates will register on the online platform. Once registered they will be able to purchase the necessary online verification modules that will need to be completed in order to work in Malta. These include verification of their level of English, courses on hospitality, essential English and the Maltese tourism product as well as verification in their chosen field of work.

Phase Two
Once phase one is complete, the candidate will be able to apply for an online verification interview where an assessor will be able to verify the skills shown in phase one.
The verification processes will verify the minimum basic level required to work in the hospitality and tourism industry in Malta.
